Is it just me or do other Lakeview residents feel that those owners whose houses have been torn down have totally abandoned the care of their empty property. There are numerous lots, too many for my good, that have weeds and grass 6 - 8 feet high. You can report the problem to the City, but that seems to go no where. How much does it actually cost to have you grass cut on an empty lot. Even if you have no desire to return to the neighborhood at least consider the people who have and take a little time and pride to keep your property clean. If you don't want to keep up the property in a way that you would live by it, get rid of it. Obviously you either don't care or don't want the property. LET'S START CLEANING UP THESE EMPTY LOTS AND PUT PRESSURE ON THEIR OWNERS TO DO SO. If enough people complained, maybe the city or someone in the Lakeview Association would see to it that something is done.
