Urge The New Orleans City Council to
Fully Staff our Historic Commissions!


Imagine New Orleans without our historic neighborhoods.
So many of us would not live here.
So many of us would not work here.
No one would visit here.

Post-Katrina, we need our historic commissions to function better than ever…

And, yet, their staffing has been slashed!

The city’s 2007 Budget hearings are starting now…

It’s time to "fully re-staff" both
The Historic Districts Landmarks Commission
and the
Vieux Carré Commission!
(Be sure to refer to both agencies. Both are important!)
