I signed up to help out on the utility committee and have not heard a word. I have 30 years of engineering and management experience with Entergy.

Please advise if anything is being done to get the street lights restored to the end of Bellaire nearer to Hammond Hwy. All utility poles have been replaced but there are no street lights. It is very dark at night and this is not helping the looting problems. I have tried to contact Entergy and they say the City needs to put up the lights. I have contacted the city, but have not received a return phone call. Perhaps something can be done by the Lakeview Committee to get the lights restored so that it will be safe for the residents trying to return home.

Thank you.
