We have always loved the area and are looking to buy a home in lakeview, preferbly a duplex. Problem is we have been having problems qualifying on construction loans but are approved on a ready to move in homes. Our idea is to find someone looking to sell their home and willing to finance it for one year while we complete the renovations. We will carry all the proper insurance, use local licensed contractors and do everything by the book. If for some reason when that year is up, if we can't finance the completed house, you get everything back including all the work into the house and any money we had paid you.
