I am organizing a grass cutting day in City Park on the NOrth Golf Course on Saturday June 3 beginning at 8:00 am. Bring your mowers, weedeaters, kids, gardners or whatever and meet at the corner of Marconi and Robert E. Lee at 8:00 am. Many people have wanted to help make a difference post Katrina and the park needs you. If we can get this part of the park cut, maybe we could get a course open and then move on to the West Course.....If nothing else it would look a lot better. If anyone is an arborist or has a tree cutting service, there are a lot of dead trees that need to come down.....for more information e-mail me at
