Homeowners and prospective buyers are invited to join us for a Celebration of Community Rebuilding. 20 homes of residents and current homeowners will be open for tour at our 1st Annual Parade of Homes. Admission is FREE.



Come and see the various stages of the rebuilding process. Visit with upstairs dwellers, FEMA trailer residents, and families who have completed their renovations and have resumed their lives here in the Lakewoods.



We’ll have live entertainment, food and drink, vendors of every profession. Participating vendors are listed below. Representatives from Cox Cable, Entergy, NOPD and Metro Security will be on hand to answer any questions you might have. Participating real estate agents will also have open houses during our tours.



Residents and prospective buyers will be given wrist bands which will allow them full access to all homes on tour and entry into the lunch tent. Diversified Construction will be grilling 12 oz. ribeyes and all the fixins’ on site, for homeowners and prospective buyers during the hours of 11:00 to 2:00. The general public will join our celebration from 1:00 to 3:00.



If you are interested in attending please RSVP as soon as possible. We want to make sure we have plenty of steaks and drinks.



We are asking all homeowners to spruce up their front yards. Let’s put our best foot forward and show the world what a great place to live Lakewood really is.
