Edward Hynes Charter School (formerly Edward Hynes Elementary) is
now accepting applications for August 2006 registration. We're back
and proud to announce our partnership with the University of New
Orleans as a professional development site! Let us provide your
child with the educational experience that has been the hallmark of
Hynes for over 53 years.

Completed Applications will be accepted during the Registration
Period of Monday through Friday 9:00AM to 3:00PM at the Hynes
Registration Center, University of New Orleans Health & Physical
Education Center and Saturdays 9:00AM to 12:00 PM at Lakeview
Information Center, Gulf Coast Bank Harrison Avenue Branch from May
8, 2006 to June 2, 2006. Applications will be accepted for grades K-
8th and Gifted/Talented Pre-Kindergarten from all formerly enrolled
(as of 08/29/2005) Hynes students, as well as students new to the
Lakeview area, students of faculty and staff at the University of
New Orleans and the Research and Technology Park, and other current
Orleans parish residents.

Applications can be picked up in person at the Hynes Registration
Center and Lakeview Information Center or downloaded from the

faxes, or scans) will be accepted in person at the Hynes
Registration Center (as above) during the Registration Period OR by
mail at Hynes Charter School, P.O. Box 56058, Metairie, LA 70055-
6058. All applications must be complete and received in person by
3:00 PM on 06/02/2006 at the Registration Center or postmarked by
06/02/2006 and received no later than 06/08/2006 at the Hynes
