This coming Saturday April 22nd you will also be voting for the LCPD tax assesment.

We all know the imprtance of this election.

I know one concern about returning Lakeview Residents is that their neighbor who moved away... How will they vote, since they do not have a finacial interest in Lakeview any longer.

How do you feel? Post a reply and take the poll.

Charles Ciaccio and Sgt Eckert were on WWL this morning talking
about this issue. Ciaccio says there is no plan to raise to $150
this year but that the issue can only go on the ballot every four
years so they want the leeway to be able to raise the fee down the
road if it becomes necessary. He indicated that it was very
unlikely that it would be raised above $100 this year. Sgt. Eckert
also reported that based on the most recent numbers NOPD has, there
are about 93 families residing in Lakeview right now.

I agree with Phil. It's not a lot of money and we need all the help
we can get.
