I am new to the Forum and seeking some information. I have two questions and I hope someone will know the answers.
ELEVATION SURVEY - I have a pier home and perhaps I might be above the BFE. Is it possible to get a firm to provide an elevation survey to reveal what my elevation is, so I may begin fixing my home? I am literally watching my home "dissolve" and if I have to wait much longer, I will not be able to save it.

FEMA GRANTS - Channel 12 last night had a program which stated that the last date to apply for FEMA GRANT money for those without flood insurance is April 10, 2006. They also stated that there are numerous types of grants available. I am NOT aware of any such grant money. Certainly, I applied for the initial grant/SBA loan, but this program (can't remember what I was watching) specifically mentioned NUMEROUS types of grants. Thus, is anyone aware of what is available and where/how to apply?
