Does anyone have a recommendation for a contractor that can look at a house before I buy it? I'm pretty good at siting the obvious structural and renovation needs, but in some of the homes I've been looking at I may want to do some actual wall changes etc and don't know if that's possible. I'd like to use someone who is already working in Lakeview.

By the way, if anyone has any advice on the process of looking, buying, getting it all started....by all means I'm all ears.

You should have an engineer review proposed load bearing wall changes. These changes could not only affect the framing but the foundation. I would be glad to help.
